SUMMER STLYIN

Calling all of my boho babes...this one is for you. Well, it’s def for me too, since I am obsessing over all of these new looks that I just got from my recent collab with Bohemian Mama (which I’m still over the moon about). Y’all know that my favorite thing is mixing styles together, so when I got this chance to knock out that feminine-meets-edgy look in one fell swoop, I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself. 

When I saw the distressed boyfriend jeans from Boyish Jeans, I almost threw all of my other jeans out the window (just kidding, but not really). They have the most flattering high-waisted cut, and that super slouchy fit is worthy of living in. Of course, I can’t ignore that distressing, which instantly ups the style on any outfit, even if I’m running groceries in an old tee (which I do more than I care to admit). Plus, I don’t even have to remind you how obsessed I am with non-stretch denim. Um, HELLOOOOO. 

I don’t have to remind you of the golden rule: no outfit is complete without the right accessory to pull it all together. But surprise, surprise, I have two new accessories that I will never be able to decide between (so I’ll just wear both). I’ve been dying for a woven, structured purse this season. So here’s a big warm hello to this cute AF Paloma purse from Faithfull The Brand. I can’t get over that cool shape and the fact that it opens from the front — how adorable is that??

And wow, OH wow, this Lack of Color hat. I’ve been lusting over this baby for way too long, and I’m happy to say she’s finally come home with me. That wide brim, that white wool, that vintage style...pinch me! She’s so pretty I just might hang her up on the wall as art, except first I have to wear her everywhere I go. I am so, so here for it.

Okay so I ran through my new favorite go-to outfit, but I couldn’t possibly forget about this stunner from Jen’s Pirate Booty. A slip dress is all well and good, of course, but make her a maxi, add some more leopard, and cut a little peekaboo into the neckline...voilà. 

You know me...I couldn’t possibly end this without bringing in some swim. And I was going to try to pick a favorite, but that wasn’t even an option. This leopard one-piece from SAME Swim has that high-cut that I am still giddy about. PLUS those thicker straps and leopard print. My, oh my. And if you are anything like me and have been dreaming of polka dots, dream no longer. The high-rise red polka-dot bikini is one that I will absolutely never get tired. Then the second I slip into these Matisse sandals, I feel like I just stepped off of the plane in Hawaii. If you’re looking for me, just check the nearest beach.
