Hey hey howdy babes, Monday again! I hit the gym after taking about 8 weeks off + my booty is going to be sore AF tmw! I also managed to watch two movies from the couch today and we just grabbed dinner with Austin parents yet here I am after a day of having to do nothing, just now rounding up the Monday Muses for y'all. Queen of procrastinating over here!

It's so hard for me to handle the 105º weather at the end of July and watching clothing already starting to transition. I say we start petitions to push it back a few months strictly for my instagram aesthetic. YA FEEL ME!?

Anyyyy who, I skipped past all the fall (besides the booties, BC I die over booties n a dress this time of year!) + rounded up this weeks "Monday Muses" bests, for the hot weather still- of course!

Mondays are the new Fridays around here and I am thankful per usual that it's finally Monday! Adjusting to new work schedules and finding time to enjoy life is a balance all in its own and I applaud those who handle it with ease. This girls needs a beach and a Pina colada stat so if y'all see any crazy good tropical vacation deals, PLEASE send it your girls way! YA FEEL ME!?

Monday a Monday a Monday again! Food prepped all night to set us up for a busy week and just started watching Glow on Netflix. Currently into their outfits and need the 80's back desperately. Anyone else!?

It's finally cooling down around here after the most miserable weekend and you can probably tell via this weeks Muses. One of my favorite sales is happening right now, the buy more save more on Forever 21 making everything so damn affordable. So the majority of this week is my round up of favorites because LBH, their website is obnoxious to go through.

Speaking of sales though, the HOLY GRAIL of sales starts this week. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. If y'all dont know, you better figure it out fast. The anniversary sales is brand new fall merch, on sale for a limited time before it goes back up to its full price. I always stock up on good basics on this sale. Good jeans, a new handbag, SHOES. WELL it starts this week if you're a Nordstrom card holder so stay tuned for my roundup July 12th when it all starts.

The most Saturdayest Monday there ever was. THANKFUL is an understatement. Austin and I both worked our asses off last week and today we're off to Ojai for a long overdue day date. Its also July and if you haven't been following along on my instagram, we did Whole 30 last month AND moved in together last month. AKA our first month of living together involved no alcohol, no dates, no Mexican food AND we survived. I think thats a pretty good sign of our future, right!? 😉 

Honestly though, so proud of ourselves and a beautiful day of wine, Mexican food + each other is exactly what the doctor ordered.

However, y'all also know that day drinking and myself dont go together too well so therefore, Monday Muses is happening before we head out! HA.

Ahhhh the best weekends always have to come to an end, don't they!? Feeling thankful to have extended mine til today + feeling ready and refreshed for a long ass week ahead! Currently binge watching Dynasty... judged a book by the cover with this one and happy I did. Have any of you seen it!? Right up my alley + I foresee y'all liking it too. Seems were friends now + all. 

This weeks picks are a little edgier but i'm feeling these looks RN. Matching sets, a little more edge, detailed accessories... I want em all. + I'm really hoping Austin decides not to read this Monday Muses, because I basically bought em all, too 😉 

Another Monday in the books, another wallet breaking Monday and the last Monday that I have to sit on my couch without a glass of wine. THANKFUL this week ends June and the Whole 30. Amennnnn.

"Where the focus goes, energy flows"

I started my day driving up PCH to Los Angeles for LA Market (big buying week for stores!) listening to a Tony Robbins podcast and this quote he talked about really stuck with me today. I arrived in downtown, so ready to succeed... that I did! I arrived early, got through everything I needed to and got home 3 hours earlier than normal. Talk about a successful day.

My mind stayed in the right place all day + it was such a reminder for me. My Monday was positive BECAUSE of my mind set. Man it feels good! Im about to wash my face, put on comfier + go see Incredibles 2 with Austin because we're both clearly kids at heart. I hope y'all have a positive week, just remember it's all a state of mind!

WOWWWWW, I'm back with a vengeance this week after skipping two weeks in a row. Talk about rude. I have all the excuses in the world for y'all but I'll save you the pity party and just hit you with a bomb Monday Muses. Sound like a deal?

Had such an inspiring day/week/month! Went to Downtown LA today and did all the buying for Succulent, who's website is finally live! Hallelujah! So much good down there and it helps me with the muses to show y'all what the brands are doing + whats up and coming. I know y'all have to love that too. I basically get a sneak peak of where fashion is going over the next couple months and I'm here to let y'all in on the secret.

BABBBBEESSS. Happy Monday! I feel like I've been neglecting y'all and ill be changing that REAL soon. Pink promise.

Life update: I've been using all my spare time to finish up Succulent's website (long long overdue website!) AND getting my house/life in order for Austin to move in next week. I'm like a little kid in a candy store, I can NOT wait. On top of all that I've been sick going on 11 days now (WTF!) AND I'm going out of town to wine county this weekend to celebrate my best friend and Austins birthdays.

SO MUCH HAPPENING. Soon enough though I'll be back on the blog post game. So for now Monday Muses has to do.

Wiiiiith Vacation being in 4 days and all, here is basically my vacation/wine tasting edit. It's good, its fun, its classy. Y'all are gonna love it. You're basically getting to shop all my vacation outfits, early. Literally.

Monday Monday Monday. WHAT A MONDAY.

6 PM and I'm laying in bed drinking tea. NOT my ideal kind of night, but this sinus infection is kicking my butt. Had too much free time on my hands today and did some serious shopping damage because so much GOOD!

Is it possible that every Monday Muses keeps getting better because I'm starting to think that it is. This weekend, while I was on vacay soaking up the sun, I got a lil taste of summer and I am telling y'all now... the outfits are going to be damn good. Not just "ah its too hot im throwing on short n a tank".. more like "yessss it's hot I get to wear the best outfit today.

MAY 7 2018

May Monday Muses!? Not gonna lie, May has me feeling some type of way. Maybe it's the fact that I have two vacations this month after a way-too-long vacation dry spell?

 First stop is this weekend- the desert for 5 days for some sun, lake, boating, drinks + family.

That being said, my eye kept going towards everything vacation this week. But can you blame me? Not that thats a bad thing, right? Every package arriving at my door is denim shorts, crop tops, swim suits, sunnies, hats + all I keeping thinking is yes yes yes.

This is my season. I swear I'm happier in the spring. Fresh air, warm sun hitting my skin, a nice tan, ROSE. YA KNOW!? All the good things. 

Austin is currently popping me some fresh popcorn as a snack and it smells mighty fine.. so gotta run! Monday Muses- coming right up.

Monday Monday, HAPPY Monday. Monday Muses.

SO I bought a new car today. That's pretty damn exciting for a Monday! Why does getting a car take so long though? Tell me the price and I'll say yes or no. None of negotiating BS. 

I did find out today that I'm a pretty good negotiator though. So, thats a perk. My dad came by today to see my car when I was signing contracts + told me he was proud. PROUD!? Pretty sure he was proud he created a mini him. My dad use to be a car salesman and mom was the finance manager... thats where they met. (k, cute!) and the car salesman was proud!? Yup, success.

Anyways. Happy girl. New car. Wine in hand. Cooked dinner at 3 so Austin could take it to work with him, so thats out of the way, and im browsing my favorite sites for y'all.

I must say, the nineties are back and they can stay. My door is wide open for em. Unlocked + everything. These cargo pants. Wide leg crops. Crochet. Sunnies.

Seriously the 90's are throwing up on this weeks Monday Muses and this nineties baby is loving every second of it.

Holy shit. So happy to be in bed right now. Isn't it funny though, I dread busy days like today but as I sit here in bed I absolutely love feeling so accomplished today. 

It's hard to not feel this way though when you start your day enjoying this absolutely beautiful place I call home and hiked 4 miles with my dog and girlfriend. I swear vitamin D just makes you feel GOOD for the entire day. I always forget how much I enjoy mornings like today until I get my booty back out there.

This weeks newness has so much goodness. I have two trips planed in May already where warm weather + all this summer GOOD is calling my name. You might be able to tell with this weeks Monday Muses, SO warm weather inspired and if my instagram is telling me correctly, its finally warming up everywhere. 

That makes me happy.

It hard posting sundresses in 85º weather and seeing that it's snowing in NY, so finally. Obsessing over so much of this, my cart is going to break the bank but hey, worth it 😉

Monday Muses already!?

Decided the carry the weekend into the week today. Went to work in my workout clothes today + am about to get ready to head to dinner in Santa Monica to meet my college roommate who's in town from Vancouver. So excited to catch up with her! Monday Muses first though.

I felt so much inspiration after seeing all the posts form my favorite influencers at Coachella. I WISH it was acceptable to dress that extra every day because they looked ah-mazing. Please someone remind me next year that is a bad idea NOT to go. I hated myself all-weekend-long.

Between the fringe galore, perfect one pieces, crazy hair styles. I wanted to throw out my entire closet and buy a new festival inspired wardrobe. I'm not alone, right?

Okay I understand thats not realistic but it made me want to shop. So here's this weeks top 10 favorites... if I can round it down to 10, for once.

WHAT A WEEK!

Y'all, the past week has been insane, exciting, tiring + more. My handmade ass man graduated from the Ventura County Sheriffs Acadamy after the most grueling 6 months! We celebrated way too much this weekend and my body was feeling it. To top is off I headed to downtown LA today to do some buying with Succulent. if y'all didn't know I manage it,  assist with the buying and am currently in the process of building the website with the my really good friend, who happens to own it!

Needless to say, I have a much needed glass of wine in hand and just purchased a lot of NEW NEW to celebrate the crazy week 😉

YESSSS. I've been looking forward to this week for so long. I LOVE THE TIME CHANGE! Getting dark at 7:30 IS MY JAM. So yes I may have been extraaaaaa tired this morning, but its all worth it. I love the sun.

Anywho. I don't know how its possible but each weeks new arrivals keep getting better. Obviously because were getting closer n closer to spring and its my favorite season for new clothes.

Swimmies, sunnies, sets.. I want it all. So here's another round up, of more than 10 of my favorite things because once again, per usual, I couldn't get myself to narrow it down anymore.

MARCH 5 2018

The first March Muses, jesussssss, HOW!? Honestly though, my favorite thing about March is the clocks change back! HELLO MORE SUNLIGHT.

So tired of the whole dark at 5 BS. 8:30 moon is more my jam.

Seriously though. Spring is coming, quick + I am so damn excited. It's still a bit chilly in Cali but there is nothing better than warm sunshine on my skin. I ALWAYS run cold, 72? COLD. I wish I could move to Hawaii, Florida, Mexico- my options are open- but Austin refuses because that boy runs hot. Our future is screwed 😉 

This weeks muses were SO HARD! I had to narrow it down from nearly 30 MUST HAVES. So, here you go- (apologies for the modge-podge, my inner perfectionist is dying that I couldn't categorize these better) they're good. Enjoy.

WOOOOO another fresh week is here and ready to be conquered! If y'all didn't notice, last weeks Monday Muses was skipped due to the fact I was real busy celebrating turning 27 + it was fantastic. I shared my birthday wishlist last week which is pretty much a Monday Muses, right!?

Cool, I'm glad were on the same page.

This week is pretty much ALL about accessories! I am in love with so many accessories this spring. As far as jewelry goes though, I swear last year was ALL about chokers and dainty necklaces, this is the year of the earring.

FEBRUARY 12 2018

Another weekend came + went too fast. But y'alllll... this weekend is my birthday weekend and this week is only a 4 day week. YES. Monday's are also a fresh start and I'm the crazy who rather enjoys them. Granted I'm sitting at a new coffee shop, and don't plan on moving any time soon. I'm chai latte obsessed + I'm pretty sure all I've consumed today is caffeine. But I'm getting WORK DONE!

Ahhh the best feeling! I work so much better when I have a lot to do and basically lose my mind when I don't. Anyone else?

I also walked into the coffee shop a few hours ago, with my all new makeup routine freshly painted on and GOT A COMPLIMENT ON IT! Thats like a sign to a good day, right? I must share this new routine with y'all soon... it's DEWY HEAVEN! Everything I use though, is here as always.

Anywhoooo I'll stop rambling. I just ordered SO MUCH NEW GOODIES, since its my birthday weekend + alllll. So I must share.
