WOOOO it's Thursday already!? This week has been flying by for me, I hope it has for y'all too! 

I can't quite wrap my head around the fact that Halloween, AKA the last day of October is in five days. Which means it's nearly November and nearly Thanksgiving which means nearly Christmas, too.

Alright i'll stop because I am starting to give myself anxiety. But, does this mean I should already start my holiday shopping? And already start rounding up gift giving blog posts for y'all!? I feel like I have my work cut out for me for the next couple months but its hardly work when you love what you do!

Anyways, It's still currently 100º in SoCal so the only way I can (somewhat) do fall is with this outfit right here... full of my FAVORITE basics to date. The camo blanket scarf stealing my heart slowly but surely. I'm actually super into this blanket scarf trend right now. They add an easy, fun pop of color to any simple outfit! Perfect to layer on top of your coats as well (to all of you who actually get to enjoy a fall/winter... jealous, party of one over here)

Now, these shoes... y'all might recognize them from just recently I wore them in my sisters wedding! I was in charge of choosing everything for the bridesmaids and I made sure these shoes were a definite yes. I knew immediately i'd get so much more wear out of them. From dressing them up with a cute dress to paired with shredded jeans and a t shirt for a casual day or night out? I'm obsessed. Better yet, they're 40% off right now AND come in black too. Only $89! The stacked heel makes them really comfortable, always a plus.

I also recently discovered the Levi's wedgie jeans... the fit is PERFECT! I have a bit of a booty and they're such a flattering "mom jean". Seriously though, every single time I put on mom jeans Austin makes some sort of comment along the lines of "not those jeans..." so to my surprise when I walked out in these expecting the same response, I instead got a "are those new jeans? I like them!" SUCCESS. Man approved mom jeans! The rise on them is so perfect too! High and fitted through the butt & thigh... winners for sure! These exact ones are a straight leg shredded version but I'll of course link my other current favorites below, as well! Remember to SIZE UP! Levi's run small! I do a 26 in all of mine (these particular ones are even snug in the 26 but they stretched out just enough within the first hour)

Lastly, y'all need this basic t in every color. Its a perfectly loose (but not too loose), raw edged sleeve and hem. Too good & cheap not to get. Its also super super soft- did I mention I love it? Best $9 purchase, for sure.
